My artwork is made up of stick figures, they represent my family and I. I added details such as tables, desks, chairs, food and beverages. I used colored pencils to create my artwork, I also blended some of the elements in the piece just to add more of a gradient vibe. The big idea behind my artwork is the day my baby sister was born. It was a very special time for all of my family and I and I really wanted to capture the meaning through my artwork. My goal for this artwork is to be able to have the viewer feel what I was feeling while I was looking at my baby sister. I want my artwork to convey feelings such as joyful, grateful, amazed, and just overall happy! I feel like I could’ve done better with my piece, maybe more detail and time could’ve made this artwork better. But for me, it is more about sharing my sister’s story, with the help of art!
