My water painting is a crabapple tree in a field. It was made using wet on dry, water coloring technique. I went to a botanical garden and while exploring we visited the crabapple tree. It looked pretty simple, so I chose it for my water painting. I wanted to make a painting that looked good and represented a crabapple tree. I didn’t expect anything amazing, I just didn’t want to make something bad. In the end, it didn’t look too good. The red on the tree popped out too much so it looked like it was a red tree.
