My artwork is two fish looking at an egg and having different ideas on what it could be. My artwork is based on one of my favorite children’s books, “Paul meets Bernadetteâ€. I used color pencils because they are very efficient and they get the job done. I wanted to express the whole idea of the book through this picture. The book is about Paul who meets a new fish and she gives Paul a whole new perspective on the world. I wanted to keep my artwork simple because that’s how it is in the book, I also wanted the pictures to be very understandable. Overall, I think that the artwork could be fleshed out a little more but it does get the message across very clearly and I think that’s the main goal.
