After reading through the powerpoint on ballistic evidence in forensic work I had realized that I never knew how much work was needed to get what they needed for information. I learned that you can match a projectiles marks to a specific type of gun. I also learned that shotguns shoot “pebble” projectiles. I always thought the power of a shotgun makes a bullet pretty much explode into bits when the trigger is pulled. Observational skills are needed for ballistic evidence work.
