My artwork is a picture of 3 blue-periwinkle flowers with green stems and an orange-yellow middle. The background is a yellow and purple blend. I started with the background. I brushed a wet paint brush over it then I took a brush with color and painted. I used the wet on wet technique. Then for the flowers it self I used a dry on wet technique with salt on the edges. The big idea with this piece was to use different watercolor techniques and create something from nature. With mine, I used a flower. My goals for this artwork was to use more than one watercolor technique that we learned. My artwork turned out differently than I wanted it too, but I think that the final product was good. In future art, I will use even more a variety of techniques.
