This is my Red Scarf Girl poster that I did with my group after we read the book. The Red Scarf Girl is about a Chinese family during the time of the Cultural Revolution. In the book, Ji Li’s (the main character) father was being accused of being a rightest. Chairman Mao made it so that then people who were a landlord, rightest, ext. had to be put into a cruel, harsh, and torture environment. These articles on this poster include quotes of how these laws connected to to the Red Scarf Girl from the 5 articles.
I thought that the Red Scarf Girl was a very interesting book that I happened to eventually enjoy myself.
