Kids should not be given homework because they already do work in school. Their brains are stuffed and they don’t want to do any work at home. Kids do math, science, social studies, reading, and writing in school.  This shows that kids should not be given homework.  Kids do not want to go home and do lots of homework.  That’s why kids should not be given homework. Â
Another reason that kids should not be given homework is that kids should play outside at home and if they have homework they can’t play outside.  Homework might take so long that it will be dark when they finish.  This shows that kids should not be given homework. Kids would hate to do homework on the weekends and they can’t play outside.  Kids like to play games.  They would yell at their parents because they don’t want to do their homework. This is why kids should not be given homework.
The third reason kids should not be given homework is because if it is really late at night they would want to go to bed. Â Kids need to get sleep. If they have too much homework, they should tell their teacher that they should get less homework because they stayed up late and had to finish in the morning. So, that is why kids should not be given homework.
Lastly, kids should not be given homework because they don’t want to do homework in the summer.  If they do homework in the summer, they will be missing out on all the fun.  The summer is where you take a break from school and work.   This is why kids should not be given homework.
