Jumbo

My artwork was a tank I saw at the AHM in Stow. The tank was an American m4A3E2 “Jumbo”. The title is Jumbo.

I used a ruler, a tin of colored pencils, and I had a picture of the tank to base it off of.

The inspiration for it was because I had gone to the AHM, and saw a Jumbo there, and it’s to put it lightly, a crude design. The extra armor is welded right on. 

My goals are to show history, or a part of history. I think it did help me reach that goal because that tank is a part of history, it was a restored tank, not a replica.

I learned that I can’t really draw tanks, and show the angles of it, and it’s not really what I imagined.
