Dear Mrs. Maio,
My best poem I have written is my ekphrastic poem because I thought I did a very good job on it, and I thought that the art I was writing about gave me many ideas on how to get started. My other poems can be better and I could revise them by relating them all to the same topic.(my ekphrastic poem’s topic)Then I could write about the same thing to make them better and easier to get ideas. Writing poetry has affected me as a writer by opening my mind up to different kinds or styles of writing and authors giving me more ideas to write about.
