My artwork is of a Pink Hibiscus Flower. I used dots to create a colorful background. I used more green in some parts of the background and more blue in other parts. I used the techniques of wet on wet and the salt technique. I also chose to use a dry technique. I did light pink for the flower. I also made the pink darker for the shadows. I used a dark green for the leaves. The big idea of my project is nature I have always wanted to go to Hawaii and this is a flower for Hawaii. With my artwork, I wanted to make people feel happy. My goal was to make my project have lots of colors using different techniques. I was able to reach my goal because I used all of the techniques and I used different colors that complement each other. My final piece is what I imagined except the background is different. This is what I thought about my project.
