Artist Statement 

 

My artwork looks like a portrait of me and my hair. On my face I drew symbols that show what I like and things that I like doing, for example playing hockey so I drew hockey skates. I used paint, watercolor pencils and markers to create my artwork. I mostly used water color pencils and pencils to color my artwork. The water really helps bring out the detail in my hair so I used it and it came out really cool.Things I like or things that inspire is what I used to create my art work. I drew a truck because I want to get a truck so I drew a truck to show that I like them. That is what inspired me to create the art work I did. My goals as an artist was to express things I like and things I think are cool. This artwork helped me reach part of my goals because it was things that make are apart of us so I couldn’t draw things I thought were cool. I learned that I am somewhat good at drawing and I can copy youtube video steps. Yes I think this will influence my future artwork because I know that I can draw so whenever I want to draw something I like I know that I can and I will send it.
