Succulent Statement
My artwork looks like a pot of succulents with a purple-blue background. Some elements that are seen in my work is the use of little details. I spent a long time working on the different succulents in the pot and the different colors they should be. Some tools I used in my artwork is a small paintbrush. I also made a red color at the tip of some of the succulent fading into green in the center of the plant. I used real pictures of succulents off the internet to create them and some I made up myself. Some sources I used is I looked up images of succulents off of the internet. I used different succulents from different images. Some things that I learned from my artwork is that it is really hard to make fine lines with watercolor. Also it is really hard to make plants close to each other without having the colors mix. I would say the final product is a little different than what I imagined I thought the lines would be a lot more clean but the lines turned out more squiggly. In future artworks I will know that if i want something that looks more clean I should use something like paint.
