About Me

I am in my sixteenth year at GDRHS teaching computer technology. I earned a BS in Business Education at Salem State College and a Masters in Business Education at Southern New Hampshire University (formerly New Hampshire College). Presently, I attend technology conferences and takes graduate courses from Fitchburg State University.
I joined the staff after 20 years of working in the private sector at a business/computer training school. I held several positions including teacher (10+ years), school director (5 years) and director of education (2 years). My focus was to retrain adults to enter business/computer fields, running the daily operations of a school, writing curriculum, and making sure all the schools were following accreditation procedures.
At GD, I was the yearbook advisor for 13 years. Among my accomplishments as advisor was winning a national award for design layout (2003) and voted adviser of the year (2005). In past years, I have served as a member on faculty council, updated the high school’s web site, served on the technology integration committee and presently serve on the education evaluation committee. Currently, I teach 21st Century Communications Technologies (formerly Computer Applications), Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Accounting I and II, Financial Literacy (new course this year) and formerly co-taught Professional Journalism, Design, and Production.
