February 3 & 10, 2015

Digital Portfolios are a great way for students or staff to collect evidence of their exemplar works.  A variety of web tools may be used to accomplish this.  Staff here at GDRHS, have already invested some time in ePortfolios using tools like Google Sites, Evernote, WordPress and more.  My current tool of choice is WordPress.  Mr. Callahan, has worked with WordPress to design a template for staff and students at GDRSD to build their own ePortfolios.  I am currently exploring WordPress and adding evidence for my SISP evaluation rubric.  The tagging feature lets me easily connect and organize my evidence.

If you want to learn more about using this tool in your classroom, join me on February 3 or 10, or both.  Can’t make it on these dates, check my calendar to book an appointment for yourself, a small group, or your department.  You can also send me an email.  Take a look at the beginning of my WordPress pages.
