The Hour of Code

The Hour of Code is a global initiative to expose students k-12 to computer science through a series of programming applications both on and off line.  Code.org co-founded by Hadi and Ali Partovi, launched in 2013.  View Hadi’s inspirational Ted Talk in playlist below.

This movement, the largest in educational history, has introduced coding basics, a peek into the area of computer science, to millions around the globe.  Hard work, passion, and celebrity sponsorship helped in the success to launch the Hour of Code.  To heat what people are saying about programming and the Hour of Code, take a look at my playlist.
