My artwork is a flower with a sunset-colored pedal and a blue background. I outlined it in a black Sharpie. When I did the sunset colors, I use the paper towels technique. I found a picture online, and it was of a flower, and I wanted to use it as a flower I would drop. I wanted to make the flower have a sunset color on each pedal because that’s what it looks like in real life. My goal was to make the flower look 3D, and I did that by adding Sharpie. Lines. I learned that I also had to draw the flower differently, not just use Sharpie.
The final piece is definitely what I expected. Since I messed up on the first one, I made by using the wrong paper, that taught me that even if you make the biggest mistake, you should give up.
